Navajo Nation President Ben Shelly arrived in Israel on Saturday amid Hanukkah celebrations, to learn about the country’s agricultural programs and tourism. Shelly and his wife, Martha, have pledged to remain neutral in political alliances and the recent hostilities between Israel and Hamas terrorists, but hope to learn more about Judaism and the history of Israel during their visit.
