Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu addressed concerns over Iranian nuclear plans during a media event with foreign journalists, saying, "They are getting closer to building a bomb. We would like American help but we will act alone if necessary, because we're talking about an existential threat."

"In any case, we must deal with this issue in 2013," he added.
