More than 5.65 million people will be eligible to vote in January's Knesset election, according to Central Elections Committee figures, broadcast Monday morning on Kol Yisrael government radio. The number is seven percent above the figures for the last national election. In Judea, the number of voters rose moe than 17 percent.
There will be more than 10,000 polling places around the country, an increase of nine percent. About a quarter of them will be accessible to the disabled.
