Rebels Declare Damascus Civilian Airport 'Fair Target'

Adding to the exorbitant instability in Damascus, Syrian rebels declared the capital’s main airport a “fair target,” warning travelers to use it at their own risk.

Fighting erupted near the airport in the past few days and civilian flights were cancelled for days at a time.

A spokesman for a rebel group said the airport has been put "under siege," saying the area was now full of armored vehicles and soldiers.
