The Transport Workers Union of the Histadrut Labor Federation and the workers' committee of the Israel Railways signed a collective bargaining agreement at midnight, Friday morning.
Under the agreement, all railroad workers will get a signing grant of 12,000 shekels. A 20-percent salary hike will be spread out over a number of steps, as well as increases to be determined by the public sector.
