The national nurses' strike is expected to continue until the beginning of next week, following a Thursday meeting between representatives of the nurses and the Finance Ministry that produced no results.

The nurses said the strike will continue until their demands are met. Channel 2 Television reported, Friday morning, that no new negotiations are scheduled until Monday.
