It was disclosed, Thursday, that the man arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of 15 bank robberies and the murder of a bank employee is former Border Guard Gabi Korsonski. He was arrested while allegedly trying to rob a bank in Nes Ziona. The Ramle Magistrates Court extended his remand by seven days, Thursday.

The robberies all involved the use of a motorcyle. A similar modus operandi was used by a bank robber in the early 1990s.
