Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz and his German counterpart, Wolfgang Schäuble, agreed, Thursday, to establish a team of experts to deal with a number of bureacratic problems faced by Holocaust survivors when they deal with German authorities. The two also discussed Germany's central role in stabilizing the European Union's financial crisis and how Israel deals with the effects of the global financial crisis. On Steinitz's request, Schäuble agreed to help promote Israel's joining the Financial Action Task Force, the international organization for fighting money laundering.
