A fourth hareidi-religious faction has announced that it will be competing in the upcoming Knesset race. The faction, Netzah, split off from the Ashkenazi-hareidi Yahadut Hatorah (UTJ) party.
The party has not yet submitted a list of candidates, but a spokesman said the list would be available later Wednesday. The party has support from Rabbi Shmuel Auerbach, he said.
The existing hareidi parties Yahadut Hatorah and Shas were joined earlier by Am Shalem, a party created by Shas MK Chaim Amsallem, who intends to challenge standard hareidi political doctrine.
