Supreme Court Hears Suit against Boycott Law

The Supreme Court is listening Wednesday morning to arguments in a lawsuit against the Boycott Law, which prohibits companies that boycott Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria (Shomron) from taking part in government bids.

Attorney Gabi Leski, arguing against the bill, said, “The political majority used its majority status to hurt the minority, to undermine its freedom of expression and its political rights… They used lofty words when passing this law. The law essentially was made to protect the settlements.”
