Britain's Foreign Secratery Says No Sanctions Planned

Britain's Foreign Secretary, William Hague, believes that the EU will not impose economic sanctions on Israel after Israel announced plans to build thousands of housing units in Jerusalem and the surrounding area.
In a speech in London's Parliament, Hague said that there is no agreement or intent for such actions but he added that if Israel did not reverse its decision, measures might be taken to stop Israel from going through with the plans. He said that Europe will continue to try to bring Israel and the Palestinian Authority to the negotiating table.
