Showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected in the north and center of the country, Tuesday, accompanied by strong winds. Local rain is forecast for the northern Negev with a risk of flash floods in the Jordan Valley and the Judean Desert. Hazy sunshine is expected in the south, and significant cooling will bring temperatures to below average on Wednesday, when the rains and the wind are expected to weaken, although a small risk of flash flooding will remain in the Judean Desert. No significant temperature change is expected through Friday. Thursday's forecast is for occasional showers and gusty winds in the north and center. The winds will subside and the rain will retreat to the north and the Mediterranean coastline during the day on Friday. The rain will spread to the center of the country Friday night.
