Hamas leader Mahmoud Al-Zahar on Monday called on the Fatah movement, headed by Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas, to join the “struggle to liberate Palestine.”

Speaking during an event of the Hamas student organization in Gaza, Al-Zahar directly addressed Fatah's leadership and said, "Do not waste time and effort, let's carry the weapons together hand in hand... We will provide weapons to Fatah activists who want to join the struggle."
