Senior Canadian diplomats have temporarily been recalled from Israel, Judea and Samaria and the United Nations missions in New York and Geneva as the country assess the implications of Thursday's UN vote to recognize the Palestinian Authority as a non-member observer state.

Canada was one of only nine countries to vote against the PA bid.
