Yesha Council Chairman Danny Dayan played down on Thursday night the UN resolution which granted the Palestinian Authority the status of a non-member observer state.

"Even now, after the decision of the General Assembly, when I look out the window of my house in Ma'ale Shomron, I do not see any Palestinian state, just Israeli flags flapping in the wind,” said Dayan. “As always, the settlement enterprise is what determines the borders and not worthless resolutions."
