State Asks Bar-Ilan University to Return Money

State Comptroller Yoseph Shapiro is scheduled to release a special report, Wednesday, about administrative irregularities at Bar-Ilan University in Ramat-Gan, east of Tel Aviv. Focusing on the activities of University President Moshe Kaveh and Director-General Chaim Glick, the report deals with allegations of nepotism and the  granting of irregular wage benefits in violation of rules, among other matters.

Based on the findings of the report, the salaries director at the Finance Ministry has applied to the school for return of the money that was allegedly paid out against the rules. Copies of the report were sent, Thursday, to a number of parties, including Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein and people who were being audited.
