Iceland announced on Wednesday that it will vote in favor of the Palestinian Authority’s request to upgrade its position at the UN to a non-member observer state.
"We fully support the proposal and beyond that, we believe that Palestine should be accepted as a full member of the United Nations," said the Icelandic foreign minister, Össur Skarphéðinsson.
