Kadima head MK Shaul Mofaz addressed high school students in Ramat Gan on Wednesday as part of mock elections held at the school.

One student asked Mofaz for his reaction to former Kadima head Tzipi Livni’s announcement Tuesday that she will be forming her own political party. “What is happening here is refusal to accept a democratic outcome,” Mofaz said. “After losing elections to head the party, it was expected that she would do everything she could to help Kadima… Unfortunately, Tzipi did not want to accept the majority view that she should be number two.”

Livni lost to Mofaz in the Kadima primaries. Polls currently show her new party with seven seats and Kadima struggling to enter Knesset.
