Leftists Dismayed Over 'Extreme' Likud List


Leftist parties expressed their dismay on Monday night at the results of the Likud’s primaries. The party’s members chose to place the more nationalistic candidates at the top of the list, pushing out the candidates that were considered to be more moderate.

Labor party chairwoman Shelly Yechimovich called on socially-oriented Likud voters to vote for her party because there was no one in the Likud left to represent them, she claimed.
