Second Day of Likud Primaries Under Way

The second day of voting in the Likud Knesset primaries opened, Monday, at 11:00 a.m. and is scheduled to continue until 9:00 p.m. at 50 polling places around the country, including three in Judea and Samaria (Shomron). About 61,000 people, 51.6 percent of eligible party members voted Sunday in balloting that was extended by two hours after computer malfunctions prevented people from voting or having their votes recorded.

The party announced that if problems develop, transportation will be provided to allow voters the chance to make their choice known.
