Shim'on Cooper Charged with Killing Third Wife

Indictments were filed, Monday morning in the Lod District Court, charging 51-year-old Shim'on Cooper of Kibbutz Eyal with the murder of his third wife, Jennie Mor-Chaim. Authorities are also seeking to detain Cooper until the end of the legal proceedings against him.

According to the indictment, Cooper showed anesthesiologist Maria Zakutsky a misrepresentation that he had been told to carry out a "secret mission" abroad and needed lethal material that could not be detected in toxicological testing. Dr. Zakutsky allegedly stole a fatal amount of a substance from a hospital and gave it to Cooper, along with the appropriate syringe and instructions on how to use it.
