Likud Turnout Reaches 36%

Officials of the Likud party said, Sunday evening, that 44,362 eligible members had voted in the party's Knesset primary, as of about 8:00 p.m. That represents 36 percent of the total.

The party's elections committee decided, earlier in the evening, to extend the balloting to midnight, after a computer malfunction prevented people from voting or their votes were not recorded.
