PM to Pilots: If Quiet is Broken, It's Back on Attack

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu visited the Palmachim Air Force Base, Sunday afternoon, accompanied by Defense Minister Ehud Barak, Chief of Staff Benny Gantz and Air Force Commander Amir Eshel. Netanyahu told pilots who participated in the recent Pillar of Defense counter-terror operation over Gaza, "If the quiet is preserved, you will be able to continue to prepare for the next campaign. If the quiet is violated, you'll return to attack what's left."

Reflecting on the number of terrorist weapons destroyed in the precision attacks, the prime minister said, "We decided when it would start and we controlled when it would end." He saluted the reservists for their determination to be called up and said, "It's very possible we'll need you later."
