Business Owners Complain of ‘Anti-Growth Campaign’

Chambers of Commerce head Uriel Lynn has complained that public relations regarding government plans to further enforce employment law has portrayed business owners as violent, threatening criminals.

The media campaign “isn’t just a campaign that incites and invokes fear, but is also anti-growth,” he said in an appeal to Minister of Trade and Labor Shalom Simhon. “It hurts motivation to develop businesses and open new businesses.”

He called on officials to show respect for the business sector while enforcing the law, and to avoid scare tactics.
