Rabbis to Discuss Taxes as Jewish Obligation

Rabbis are to discuss taxes, along with other subjects, in the 22nd annual conference on Jewish law (halacha) and financial matters. Many renowned rabbis, among them the Chief Rabbis of Israeli, will attend the event.

“Jewish law mandate paying taxes intended to assist the weaker members of society and for welfare and education – but there are complexities to the matter, and many debates which we will discuss during the annual conference,” explained Rabbi Ratzon Amroussi. “The speakers will discuss weighty halachic matters.
