Russia warned Turkey on Friday that deploying Patriot missiles along its border with Syria could cause an armed conflict that NATO will be drawn into. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the more weapons along the border between Turkey and Syria, the greater the risk that these weapons will be used.
Kol Yisrael radio reported that Turkey has asked NATO to provide a Patriot missile that will protect its border with Syria, and it is expected that NATO will approve the request within the next few days.
