A spokeswoman for the Israel Defense Forces was cited by Agence France Presse, Friday morning, as saying that she could not confirm an incident in which Gaza medics claim Israeli troops shot a Gaza resident to death.

The spokeswoman said that disturbances had broken out in the Hamas-ruled area and that Israeli troops had fired warning shots.
