School in Be'er Sheva Friday; Not in Eshkol or Ofakim

Schools in Be'er Sheva' will return to their normal schedule on Friday, after they were closed due to the terrorist rocket fire from Hamas-controlled Gaza that precipitated the Pillar of Defense counter-terror campaign.

The Eshkol Regional Council, next to Gaza, announced, Thursday, that its schools will re-open on Sunday, as people who left during the fighting return to the area. The city of Ofakim, which also suffered from the rockets, announced that its schools would not re-open on Friday, despite the cease fire between Israel and Gaza terrorists, which was announced Wednesday evening.
