The Education Ministry has found temporary alternate arrangements for 4,400 students in southern Israel. Children are being taken to schools and daycares more than 40 kilometers from Gaza in the Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Haifa districts among others.
The arrangement allows students to continue learning and to let off tension through recreational activity after days spent in bomb shelters and reinforced rooms.
