Stones Thrown at Car Severely Injures Israeli Woman

A 60-year-old Israeli woman is in serious condition after her car was hit by a hail of stones from Palestinian-Arab rioters on a road near Bethlehem in Judea and Samaria, police said on Tuesday.

"An Israeli woman was driving on a bypass road near Beitar Ilit when her car was hit by stones and molotov cocktails," police spokeswoman Luba Samri told AFP.

The woman is in serious condition with burns to her face and neck and has been transferred to Hadassa hospital at Ein Kerem in Jerusalem. Police said they were investigating the incident.
