In an unusual turn of events, police in Akko asked MK Michael Ben Ari, due to arrive in the city in an hour for a press tour, not to hold any events in the city in light of intelligence information predicting disturbances from radical Islamists.
Ben-Ari said that he will travel to Akko as planned and that the time has come for Israel to stand strong and show rioters who is boss, saying, "Our Akko will win and we won't fold to a group of rioters who think that Akko is Palestine."
