A rocket exploded, Tuesday afternoon, in the yard of a building in the western Negev city of Sderot. No injuries were reported. The attack brought to 1,210, the number of rockets launched by terrorists in Gaza since the start of the Pillar of Defense counter-terror campaign, which began last week, following the launching of hundreds of rockets from the Hamas-controlled area. Forty-three of them fell in built-up areas.
The Iron Dome anti-missile system has executed 359 interceptions of rockets, 12 of them on Tuesday morning. The Israel Air Force has attacked 1,450 terrorist targets in Gaza, 100 of them on Tuesday.
