The Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee is scheduled to vote, Tuesday, on a request by Defense Minister Ehud Barak for an additional call-up of reservists to help the Pillar of Defense counter-terror operation in southern Israel.

Before the vote, the committee will hear a review of the situation from General Ona Barbivai, the head of the Israel Defense Forces' Personnel Branch, as well as from the IDF's operations chief.
