Two katyusha rockets aimed at Israel and set to launch were discovered Monday in southern Lebanon, a security source told The Daily Star.

The source said the rockets were defused by security forces, who said the rockets could reach 7 kilometers into Israel if launched in full power.

The sources said that the two rockets were placed 4 kilometers away from the Lebanese-Israeli border.
