Missile alerts sounded in Be'er Sheva' and the Merchavim Council region shortly after 2:00 p.m. Monday. The alerts were the third for Be'er Sheva' and the second for Merchavim in the span of a few minutes.

The Iron Dome anti-missile system intercepted a number of the Be'er Sheva-bound rockets, while others fell in open areas.
