The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has changed the takeoff and landing patterns at Ben-Gurion International Airport, southeast of Tel Aviv, to avoid the possibility of planes being hit when the Iron Dome anti-missile defense system intercepts rockets launched by terrorists in Hamas-controlled Gaza at the Dan region around Tel Aviv. The change has not affected the flight schedule.
