Int'l Young Israel Sending Convoys of Gifts to Soldiers

Standing Together and the International Young Israel Movement have joined forces in support of soldiers who have been called up to the Gaza border in anticipation of a ground entry into Gaza.

Collection boxes have been placed at private homes in Neve Daniel, Efrat, Elazar, Beit Shemesh, Ramat Beit Shemesh, Har Nof, Katamon and the IYIM office in central Jerusalem. In an outpouring of support for the soldiers many have brought in bags of: packaged cakes, packaged cookies, candy, drinks, tooth paste, wipes/tissues, thick socks, knitted hats and more despite the campaign being less then 48 hours old.

David Landau, Director of Standing Together, is leading daily convoys to bring the supplies to the soldiers.

A delegation from the National Council of Young Israel from New Jersey and Phoenix will be joining the convoy on Wednesday.
