Businesses in southern Israel are losing an estimated 90-100 million shekels per day, the Chambers of Commerce reports. Roughly 25,600 businesses operate in the south, and 80% have shut down in recent days due to ongoing rocket attacks from Gaza.

Ninety-seven percent of the affected businesses are small businesses, some of them family-owned.
