Be'er Sheva-Bound Rocket Intercepted

A rocket was launched at Be'er Sheva', Friday morning. It was shot down by the Iron Dome anti-missile defense system.

It was announced, Friday morning, that another Iron Dome battery would join the four already in place on Saturday evening because of the hundreds of launchings from Hamas-controlled Gaza since last Saturday. The battery, which is still in its development stages, was impressive in recent tests. It was originally scheduled to come into service about two months from now.
