Dichter: Night Won't Be Quiet; Don't be Indifferent

Homefront Security Minister Avi Dichter said, Thursday evening, "We're on our way to a night that won't be quiet. We are ready for the expansion of activities in Gaza. Discussing the security assessment by government officials, he added, "The citizens of Israel are being asked to be alert tonight," and called on civilians to act according to the instructions of the Homefront Command as they are transmitted by the media.

Dichter stressed, "When you hear an alarm, take cover on the basis of 'the best protection available'. This is no time for indifference."
