Paul Ryan, who was Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s vice presidential candidate, admitted in an interview with ABC News on Tuesday he was shocked that the Republicans lost last week’s election. Ryan admitted, however, that President Barack Obama won the election fair and square.

Ryan said Obama deserves to be congratulated for having "a fantastic ground game."

"He got more votes, and that’s the way our system works, and so he ought to be congratulated for that,” he said.
