Jewish Man Released after ‘Temple Mount Prayer’ Arrest

A Jewish man arrested Tuesday for allegedly praying on the Temple Mount has been released. He was freed only after he agreed to sign a form saying he will not ascend to the holy site for the next two weeks.

The man said he plans to ask a court to cancel the two-week commitment, which he said was not obtained legally.

Jews are allowed to visit the Temple Mount, known to Muslims as the Dome of the Rock, but are not allowed to pray at the site due to security concerns.
