Two gorilla cubs have been born in the Tel Aviv safari, one two weeks ago and one recently. “It’s very exciting, it’s a rare and happy occasion,” staff said.

The baby gorillas are expected to be able to move independently soon, and to go out onto the safari grounds. When they are older, they will probably be sent to other zoos to help boost gorilla populations there.
