Peres: If Hamas Wants Quiet, Then Stop Shooting at Us

President Shimon Peres stated that if Hamas wants quiet on the southern order, then it is up to them to stop firing rockets into Israeli civilian population centers. He made the comments at a speech at the College of Tel Aviv as part of a series of visits to academic institutions across the country.
"Israel must divert all attention to the south," he told a group of 400 students. "If you want a normal life for the people of Gaza - Stop firing! This call is also for those give money to Gaza," President Peres stated.
