Police Commissioner Yochanan Danino said, Monday, that the police were making an effort to recruit more Arab officers.

Addressing a gathering of Arab mayors, Danino said the recruitment effort was being made alongside additional training to strengthen officers for enforcing the law in a multi-cultural society.
