Labor Party Chair Shelly Yacimovich responded Monday to allegation by Uri Sagie accusing her of soiling his name in order to achieve political gains. In an interview with Channel Two Yacimovich said, "I'm sorry for the family of Uri Sagie who were exposed to all of this. I do not want to go into detail, I can assure everyone that (any intention of) political gain was not here, even a political price."
Yacimovich said, "My first commitment is to the victim in general, not just this case. I hope this affair will end soon."
