Two Arab youth have been indicted for a racist assault on a young Jewish man in Jerusalem. The two attacked their victim, who was wearing hareidi-religious garb, as he drove near the A-Tor neighborhood.
They allegedly kicked the car, beat their hands against the windows and damaged the exterior of the vehicle in an attempt to frighten the man inside and do damage. The intended victim remained safe within the car.
The prosecution’s definition of the assault as having been motivated by racism could mean a significantly more serious sentence for the two youth if they are convicted.
