Mofaz Calls IDF to Act Powerfully to Root Out Terror

Kadima Chair Shaul Mofaz commented on Saturday's attack of an IDF Jeep and called for military response.

"It is time for a deep and thorough root of the Gaza Strip. Terrorist organizations should be engaged in saving their own lives rather than plotting attacks," he said. "Politicians should assure the IDF to act powerfully wherever necessary. Israeli stuttering will only lead to more acts of terrorism. Heads of the terrorist organizations should be the first and immediate goal. We knew how to get to them before. The IDF knows how to perform. We must allow them to do so. "

Mofaz added: "Israel's security comes before any election. I am backing up the Prime Minister on this matter."
