Tel Aviv police arrested a 59-year-old man Saturday morning who is suspected of stealing Torah scrolls and other holy ritual objects from a synagogue on Nachalat Binyamin in Tel Aviv.

The synagogue member who called the police was able to give the police a description of the suspect, which led to his arrest. 

Upon investigation, police discovered that the intruder entered the synagogue through an air conditioning vent.
