MK Alex Miller (Yisrael Beytenu) attended on Friday an international wrestling competition named after the late Lt. Hanan Barak, commander of Gilad Shalit, who was killed in the Hamas attack in which Shalit was kidnapped. Shalit was also present at the event.
"We are confident that during the years you were in captivity, you struggled to maintain your spirit in spite of all the difficulties you'd been through," Miller told Shalit. "We derive from this spirit inspiration in our daily life, in our struggles with the enemy and in the personal struggles of each of us."
